Overview of Mechanical Design, Force Analysis and Materials Study, Theories of Failure and Reliability, Fatigue Loadings, Machine Component Design for example: Rivets, Weldings, Joining Components and Methods, Various Springs, Power Screws and Threaded Fasteners, Lubrication and Sliding Bearings, Rolling-Element Bearings, Spur Gears, Helical, Bevel and Worm Gears, Brakes and Clutches, Belts and Chains, Project - prerequisites or co-requisites
