    Basic design of mechanical unit operations, flow in packed bed, fluidized bed, blending and mixing of liquid in mixing tank; heat transfer in mixing tank; separation of particulate material by sieving, separation of particulate material by centrifugal force; air classifier, gas cyclone, centrifugal sedimentation, separation of particulate material by filtration, mixing of particulate material; size reduction of particulate material.
