- d. Power and Torque Characteristics, Capability Curve and V-curve. e. Power factor control, Independent generator and Salient pole synchronous machines. f. Determination of Xd and Xq, Speed control of synchronous motors. g. Brushless DC Motors (BLDC).
- h. Induction machines, Rotating magnetic field and Induced voltage. i. Three modes of Operation and Equivalent circuit model (IM). j. Performance characteristics, Power flow and Effects of rotor resistance
- k. Classes of Induction motors and Speed control of Induction motor. l. Single phase induction motors and Special motors. m. The concept of AC machines simulation (Matlab/Simulink).
