This course requires students to understand characteristics of power electronic devices, power diodes, thyristors, power transistors, mosfet, IGBT, characteristics of magnetic material, power transformer core, ferrite core, iron powder core, AC to DC converter, DC to DC converters, AC to AC converter, DC to AC converter. - prerequisites or co-requisites
