6. Specific goals for the course
- specific outcomes of instruction (e.g. The student will be able to explain the significance of current research about a particular topic.)
- CLO1 Students understand the characteristic and property of semiconductor material and basic electronic devices.
- CLO2 Student can identify the physical structure, nonlinear characteristic and operation of basic electronic devices such as diodes, transistor, MOSFET and Op-Amp.
- CLO3 Students can analyze and synthesis the characteristic of basic electronic circuits, such as voltage regulators , amplifiers, oscillators and filters, using basic electronic devices such as diode, transistor, MOSFET and Op-Amp.
- CLO4 Students can develop the Bode diagrams of the transfer functions and an equivalent circuit for basic electronic devices such as diode, transistor, MOSFET and Op-Amp under small-signal constraints.
- CLO5 Students can implement the nonlinear characteristics of diodes to create the electronic circuits, including voltage rectifier, voltage regulator circuit, wave shaping circuits and AC to DC Converter.
