    Semiconductor, Diodes, Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT), Field Effect Transistor (FET), Junction gate Field-Effect Transistor (JFET), Applying Electronic devices on linear and non-linear circuits, Amplifier Circuits, Oscillator Circuits, Filter Circuits and Power Supply of Power Electronics devices.

6. Specific goals for the course

  1. specific outcomes of instruction (e.g. The student will be able to explain the significance of current research about a particular topic.)
    1. CLO1 Students understand the characteristic and property of semiconductor material and basic electronic devices.
    2. CLO2 Student can identify the physical structure, nonlinear characteristic and operation of basic electronic devices such as diodes, transistor, MOSFET and Op-Amp.
    3. CLO3 Students can analyze and synthesis the characteristic of basic electronic circuits, such as voltage regulators , amplifiers, oscillators and filters, using basic electronic devices such as diode, transistor, MOSFET and Op-Amp.
    4. CLO4 Students can develop the Bode diagrams of the transfer functions and an equivalent circuit for basic electronic devices such as diode, transistor, MOSFET and Op-Amp under small-signal constraints.
    5. CLO5 Students can implement the nonlinear characteristics of diodes to create the electronic circuits, including voltage rectifier, voltage regulator circuit, wave shaping circuits and AC to DC Converter.
