- CLO3 The student will be able to be banking three single-phase transformers to three-phase transformer and determine vector group.
- CLO4 The student will be able to be operating function of DC machine when it is running as generator or motor.

7. Brief list of topics to be covered
- a. DC machine: Operating function of DC machine, Voltage regulation and speed regulation.
- b. Transformer: Open circuit test, short circuit test, equivalent circuit of single-phase transformer, three single-phase transformers to three-phase transformer bank and vector group.
- c. Synchronous machine: no-load test, short-circuit test, reactance of a synchronous machine, stand-alone synchronous generator, generator synchronization to an infinite bus, operating limit synchronous machine from operating chart.
- d. Induction machine: no-load test, block-rotor test, equivalent circuit, torque speed characteristic when adjust external resistors, mode of operation.
- e. Induction motor control with magnetic: jogging, On-off control, reversing direction of motor, start star run delta.
