This course requires students to study information and network security, focusing in particular on the security aspects of the information security management, security service, communication privacy, security architecture, security attacks, threats and system vulnerabilities, security models, firewalls and IPS/IDS, confidentiality, data integrity, authentication, non-repudiation, cryptography(encryption/decryption), hash/message digest, message authentication codes, Digital Signature, security protocols (IPSec, SSL/TLS), ethics and laws, risk assessment, business continuity, security standards, and penetration testing - prerequisites or co-requisites
